Fire Safe History
Fire Safe Safety Services (Fire Safe) is a recognized leader for safety and compliance training and fire equipment maintenance. Fire Safe provides partners access to live emergency and non-emergency safety training and compliance for employees, and fire equipment maintenance, cleaning, and sales for business.
Commonwealth Home Health Care, Inc. was founded in the early 1980s by four local businessmen. Originally Commonwealth provided medical equipment to patients in their homes as a more affordable, comfortable option to long term hospital care. After 30 years, Commonwealth Home Health Care now employs over two hundred team members and provides service from West Virginia to central Florida. Our corporate headquarters is based in Danville, Virginia.
Fire Safe, Inc. is one of several companies that is a service division to Commonwealth Home Health Care. As a division, Fire Safe began in 2002 as a result of a nursing home partner needing fire extinguisher services and CPR training. Fire Safe has grown significantly since this point, now offering a diverse selection of safety training courses and fire equipment services. Fire Safe works with over eight hundred industry partners, including local small businesses and major national corporations.
